Use of Foreground Service

The application uses a Foreground Service to reliably inform you that the device's sound is muted, as well as to restore the sound at the precisely scheduled time. This is especially important for long mute periods. The foreground service maintains a persistent status notification that cannot be accidentally dismissed. This prevents situations where you might forget that silent mode is enabled. We declare the use of the FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE type because we consider continuous user notification about a critical change in the device's state (sound being muted) an important task.

What data we collect and why

To ensure the stable operation of the app and to fix bugs, we use Google tools (Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics). These services transmit 100% non-personalized (anonymous) technical information:
